Worm

This was the first word that Jaydon tried to write on his own at home.  He drew the worm (with legs...figured he would learn later about worms and caterpillars) then labeled it.  I was soooooo proud of him.  He had just turned 4, and was in the 4's class at St. Philip's.  I just love this drawing!

Thanksgiving Study - Papoose

Jaydon made this in Kindergarten at Myatt in Mrs. J. English's class when they did their Thanksgiving study.  The Native American name he gave his baby was Eagle Feather.

Pokemon Reading Club

"Pokemon Reading Club.  Bring any Pokemon book that you have."

Jaydon stayed afterschool with the YMCA at his school and met several friends who liked Pokemon and he began getting interested in the cards as well.  They talked about creating a club, and after his school had a book fair, he made this sign for their club.
